Position: ICT Educator (with an additional teaching area)

We are seeking a dedicated teacher for our secondary institution located in Berlin Mitte. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about motivating students and assisting peers in the effective application of digital technologies. This role is available from the 2026/27 academic year as an ICT Educator (with an additional teaching area) on either a part-time or full-time basis.

Your Duties:

• Design and execute engaging ICT lessons aligned with our curriculum for grades 5 through 10; potential expansion to include grades 11–12 later on.

• Instruct students on computer hardware systems, software use cases, programming skills & digital literacy competence.

• Establish a positive classroom atmosphere conducive to all students' growth.

• Evaluate student assignments by preparing assessments & grading reports accurately for report cards issuance.

  • Employ various instructional techniques tailored toward accommodating diverse learner needs & interests effectively.

  • Lead professional training sessions for faculty focusing on maximizing digital tool usage during lesson planning & personalized learning initiatives.

  • Spearhead enhancements within the school's ICT curriculum offerings alongside extracurricular club activities post-school hours under afternoon care programs supervision if necessary.

  • Engage actively during departmental gatherings/events sharing insights towards continuous institutional improvement efforts regularly attended by team members alike required accordingly upon request when needed too often frequently over time.

Your Qualifications:

• Qualified secondary school teacher and holder of a Master's degree (in ICT and or equivalent) and/or a PGCE/PGDE

• Practical teaching experience in ICT

• Ideally, practical teaching experience in a secondary school setting with students in grades 5 to 10

• An interest in the development and implementation of new pedagogical concepts that focus on the individualized development of students

• Passionate and motivated to engage with our pedagogical concept

• Act as a role model for students and enjoy teaching in a secondary setting
